NOTE: The login procedure was updated on July 2021 from Microsoft AzureAD B2B to B2C with Two-Factor Authentication.
SMARTLINK uses Azure AD B2C. Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) is Microsoft’s cloud-based identity and access management service, which helps you to sign in using the credentials of your company. It allows one organization to invite members from other organizations to share application access.
The user account information is stored in his/her Azure AD, not in SMARTLINK. Whenever the user needs to be verified, all identity and access management is performed by Azure AD.
If you try to log in the first time and your account was not already linked to a Microsoft account, SMARTLINK will do this for you. When this happens, follow the steps below:
- Create a new password and select a username. Remember this password to log in to SMARTLINK.
NOTE: In this case, identity management is performed by Microsoft. Meaning, in case you don't remember your password or have any issues with the sign-in application, you need to check this page on the website of Microsoft https://account.microsoft.com/ - You will get a verification code by email.
- Use the verification code to validate the account.
Accept Microsoft's Terms and Conditions.
You will be redirected to the SMARTLINK page so you can sign in.
