How are your assets connected and where exactly are potential bottlenecks or opportunities for optimization? SMARTLINK's Room View allows you to map your compressor room by dragging and dropping machines on a canvas. It is a unique way of generating insights through visualization. Follow the steps below to draw your compressor room.
- Select a site as your scope (top right) > go to Assets > make sure to select the Machines-tab > Click on the Room view icon.
- Click on the pencil icon to start editing the layout.
- Click on a machine (and hold) to drag assets accross the canvas. Drop by releasing your mouse. By default, you can only select machines that are known in the system. Right-click to remove a machine from the canvas.
- In order to add Vessels and End tools, click on the toggle to switch off Known machines.
- Right-click on a pipe to draw pipes connecting your machines. By right-clicking anywhere on a pipe, you can add a connection point allowing you to connect pipes and assets to each other.
- Click on the check mark icon to save your design.
NOTE: By clicking on the plus-icon, you can download or upload your design in JSON format.
